» Soldiers In God’s Army
What an awesome service we had Sunday, as we celebrated God and Country. The special music, the video and everything else was truly wonderful. The message reminded us of the truth that we are all a part of God’s army. As soldiers in His army we have an opportunity to influence others in a Godly way. We are to be obedient soldiers and what we do has vital significance. I want to encourage you to hear God’s voice. Have a sensitive ear to what He is saying to you. Then obey God’s voice. James 1:22 says, “But be doers of the word and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves”. God has called us to be “good soldiers” in His army. And to be a “good soldier”, we must hear and obey.
All through the sermon, I just knew you were going to make us all sing that children’s song “I’m in the Lord’s army”. You know that one, doncha?? It was in my head all day, and now it is again.
