» Attitude
We had a wonderful day at Briarwood yesterday. It was our annual “back to school” service. We prayed for all the students and school employees and will continue to do so. The message was “Having A Godly Attitude”. We decide our attitude. Our attitude should be determined by our trust in God and His Word, not by others or our circumstance. His word says, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me”. It is a verse about partnering with God in every aspect of our lives. “I can….through Christ”. So no matter what you are facing today, you can have a good attitude. “Don’t whine, but shine. Don’t fold, but be bold. Don’t give up, but look up. Don’t run away, but run to God. Don’t moan and groan, but let it be know, that you and God are Bad To The Bone.”
Phil. 4:13 is one my favorite verses. Tim Tebow was quarterback for the Florida Gators and is now a rookie with the Denver Broncos wears this verse on his eye-black under his eyes. Phil. under one eye 4:13 under the other. Guess that makes him an eye witness.
