» Justice And Mercy
At Calvary God’s Justice and Mercy worked together to fulfill God’s perfect redemtive plan. “We have all sinned and come short of the glory of God.” Therefore, justice declares for us death. “For the wages of sin is death.” That is God’s declared justice. And He is completely Just. But Jesus came to earth to take our place and He died to fulfill the Justice of God. He received what we deserved. And we receive His Mercy. But it doesn’t stop at Calvary. Psalm 23:6 says, “Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life”. Lamentations 3:23 says, “his mercies are new every morning”. No matter who we are or what we have done, we can experience the Mercy of a Just and Merciful God.
