» Obedience
We had an awesome day Sunday at Briarwood. The morning service was so refreshing, as we experienced the presence of God in such a life changing way. The evening service was also wonderful, as people from churches all over our community came together as one voice to worship God. Sunday morning I talked about the gifts and abilities that God has given to each of us. The gifts are different, but each are vitally important. We all have a calling. The important thing is that we have the courage to respond to that calling with total obedience. God Blesses Obedience. God says in Deuteronomy 11:26-28, “Behold I set before you today a blessing and a curse: the blessing, if you obey the commandments of the Lord your God which I command you today; and the curse, if you do not obey the commandments of the Lord your God……” God has gifted you. God has a calling for you. Have the courage to respond to Him with Obedience.
What a priviledge it is to be called by God. God wants to use ME! to get things done for Him on earth!!
I realize that it takes a commitment, and a privilege to serve the Lord. I enjoyed the message on Sunday. I really enjoyed the music on Sunday night. Lynnee sang one of my favorite songs. She has a beautiful voice, and represented Briarwood Church really well.
