Kid’s Cafe
Kids Cafe is a national program whose mission is to provide free hot meals for those children who would otherwise go without such a meal. It is supported by local Food Banks, staffed by volunteers, with meals prepared and served out of local schools and churches across the country.
Presently, Briarwood Church is the only Kids Cafe in Pampa. Kids Cafe is open every Tuesday and Thursday from 5:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. Briarwood volunteers prepare and serve approximately 125 - 140 hot meals each night to underprivileged children and their families in our Family Life Center. There is no charge for these meals. Transportation is provided in certain areas of the community. While the program is geared for children, no one needing a hot meal is turned away.
