H2O Youth
Briarwood Church’s youth ministry goes by the name H2O, which is an acronym for “His 2 Own.” The idea of water is drawn from the analogy that Jesus is the “Living Water” and whoever drinks of it will “never thirst” (John 4:10ff). We realize that just as water is a physical sustainer, Jesus is the spiritual sustainer.
Our desire at H2O is for teenagers to come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. We want them to understand the importance and necessity of having an intimate and personal relationship Him. By partaking of this “Living Water,” teenagers will have the faith and tools necessary to live a meaningful life that is Christ-centered and Spirit-directed.
H2O offers a number of activities for teenagers to be involved in. We have our own worship, drama, and dance teams. We take an annual Spring Break Trip and Summer Camp Trip. We also attend various concerts and sporting events. Other times, we like to simply “hang out” at someone’s house. So, there are fun things for everyone to enjoy.
The H2O service is called “The Well.” This is a place for teenagers to come and receive the “Living Water” that will refresh their souls. The service is at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday nights. Come join us for fun, fellowship, engaging worship, and a relevant message.
