Lynn Hancock

Senior Pastor

Rev. Lynn Hancock has served as Senior Pastor of Briarwood Church since November 1992.  His wife Janet is Assistant Principal of Pampa High School.  Together they have three wonderful children and three perfect grandchildren.  Lynn is looking forward to seeing you this Sunday Morning!

 

Karen Putman

Children's Pastor

Karen Putman has served as Children's Pastor at Briarwood Church since January of 1998. Karen has two children, Brandon and Season.  Both of which are married and have blessed her with 2 adorable and energetic grandsons, Westin  and Jaxson,  and one precious granddaughter, Emma.

Karen has been involved in Children's Ministry for 20+ years as a Children's Pastor and Christian Education Director. She is also a Certified Presenter for Character Connex, presenting character and virtue lessons to children through public  school assemblies. She is passionate about leading children into a solid relationship with Jesus Christ and bringing them to the realization that God has a purpose for their life even as children. She focuses on building relationships with the children of Briarwood outside the walls of the church. She believes strongly that children are not just the church of tomorrow, but a vital part of of the church today! Matt Green

Youth Pastor

Matt Green is Briarwood Church's new addition.  Matt moved to Pampa, TX from Phoenix, AZ in January 2008.  He graduated from Lee University in 2005 with a Bible Theology Degree.  He met is wife, Lynnsee, at Lee and they have been married almost four years.  They have one child, Georgia Gail, who was born on Easter Sunday 2008.

Matt grew up in church, and has been involved in ministry for over ten years.  He is very excited to be in Pampa, and is looking forward to what God is going to do in this city.  He would like to invite you to come and visit Wednesday Night at the Well!
